FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Millman’s NAPA Modifieds to Race for Increased Purse in 2025 at Georgetown Speedway

Georgetown, Del. – April 7, 2025 – The 2025 season is shaping up to be a landmark year for the Millman’s NAPA Modified division at Georgetown Speedway, thanks to a significant boost in sponsorship. A wave of support from both new and returning sponsors has resulted in an increased purse structure designed to reward teams fairly from top to bottom.

Effective immediately, the base payout for Modified events has been raised to a $15,150 total purse, highlighted by $3,000 to win and deeper rewards throughout the field. This strategic increase aims to support not just the front-runners, but also the hardworking teams that fill the pits and make every show a competitive spectacle. The restructure was carefully crafted to avoid a top-heavy format while still providing incentive and recognition for top finishes. A steady payout increase throughout the field ensures that teams outside the top ten are better supported.

The purse increase is made possible by a growing list of sponsors who have stepped up for the 2025 season, including new supporters across Sussex County and the Delmarva region. Their investment into the Modified program underscores Georgetown Speedway’s continued growth and momentum under the leadership of Mid-Atlantic Promotions.

The first Millman’s NAPA Modified event under the new purse structure will take place this Friday night, April 11th for the Spring Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series Night Presented by Phil’s Electrical Service.
