PACE RUSH LATE MODEL SERIES ANNOUNCES COMFORT SUITES SEAFORD AS "OFFICIAL HOTEL" OF DELAWARE "BATTLE OF THE BAY" TOUR RACES
(Seaford, DE)…As the countdown is on to the start to the start of the 2020 racing season, Pace Performance RUSH Racing Series together with Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC Directors Vicki Emig and Mike Leone have announced that the Comfort Suites Seaford will be the "Official Hotel" of the Delaware "Battle of the Bay" Late Model Tour events that will take place at Delaware International Speedway on April 15 and Georgetown Speedway on April 16. The third annual "Battle of the Bay" Mid-Atlantic Speedweek then moves on to Potomac Speedway on April 17 and concludes at Winchester Speedway on April 18.
The Comfort Suites Seaford is located conveniently on US 13 at 23420 Sussex Highway, Seaford, DE 19973 and is within 15 miles of both Delaware International and Georgetown Speedways. The Comfort Suites Seaford offers a free hot breakfast and has an indoor heated pool, fitness and business center along with guest laundry facilities. Parking for trucks and trailers is available at the lot beside the hotel.
Comfort Suites General Manager Kishan Patel is offering a RUSH rate of $89/per night for a King Suite or $99/per night for a 2 Queen Bed Suite. The "Battle of the Bay" begins the season long race for the $12,000 to-win RUSH Tour championship. The opening event at DIS is the second annual "Raelyn Huffman Memorial" paying $4,000 to-win, while the other three events at Georgetown, Potomac, and Winchester each pay $3,000 to-win. There is a $3,000 Speedweek point fund for the top 10 RUSH members with $1,000 going to the champion. The top 12 drivers from the 2019 Tour points will receive a $150 travel package. The Zarin Truck & Automotive "$500 Club" drawings will take place each night with the first two nights sponsored by PJ1 Motorsports.
