Pauch Jr. & Holsten Look to Ride Momentum into Friday Night at Georgetown Speedway

GEORGETOWN, DE – Historic Georgetown Speedway is set
to fire off for the first time in six weeks this Friday night, July 24.

Blue Hen
Dispose-All presents a doubleheader of the L&J Sheet Metal Modifieds and
Rapid Tire USAC East Coast Sprint Cars (wingless) on the progressively banked
half-mile oval.

With $3,000
on the line for the big-block/small-block Modifieds, Billy Pauch Jr. and the Rick
Holsten No. 96 team look to continue their hot streak on the Pennsylvania-New
Jersey-Delaware Modified circuit. Pauch Jr. and Holsten head to the First State
Friday on the heels of a big Short Track Super Series (STSS) victory Sunday at
BAPS Motor Speedway in Newberrytown, Pa., where the New Jersey driver held off
titans Stewart Friesen and Matt Sheppard for the triumph.

Pauch Jr.
knows how to get it done at Georgetown. He put the Holsten No. 96 in Victory
Lane last August with national MAV-TV cameras on site.

Pauch Jr. owns
back-to-back STSS Modified victories, also picking up the Sunoco checkered flag
at Pa.s Big Diamond Speedway in June. He is chasing the Sunoco Championship
Series point standings at Georgetown and enters Fridays event just four points
behind leader Danny Bouc.

Fridays
program will mark the second event at Georgetown since the complete resurfacing
of the half-mile track in the spring.

Joining the
Modifieds and USAC East Coast Sprints are the RUSH Late Models ($1,000 to win,
RUSH Weekly Series & Georgetown points), Southern Delaware Vintage Stock
Cars, Little Lincolns, Delaware Super Trucks and Delmarva Chargers.

Grandstand
admission is $20 (Adults), $16 for Seniors (ages 65 and up) and Students (ages
13-17), $10 for Kids (ages 9-12) and Children 8 and under are FREE.

Pit admission
is $35, $10 for Kids (ages 6-12) and Children 5 and under are $2.

Pit and
grandstand gates open at 5 p.m. Hot laps hit the track at 6:40 p.m. Racing gets
underway at 7:30 p.m.

The speedway
will be following CDC guidelines and social distancing requirements for the
State of Delaware.

Georgetown
Speedway, originally constructed by Melvin L. Joseph in 1949, is located at the
intersection of Route 113 and Speedway Road in Georgetown, Del., just miles
from the Delaware beaches and less than a 40-minute drive from Ocean City, Md.

A website is
live for the speedway at www.thegeorgetownspeedway.com. Like Georgetown Speedway on
