The Restoration Group Rewards Resilience with Weekly $500 Recovery Bonus at Georgetown Speedway
Georgetown Speedway is proud to announce a new partnership with The Restoration Group for the 2026 season. This collaboration brings together two organizations built on resilience, hard work, and the power of recovery—both on and off the track.
Founded in 2017 by industry veterans Josh Muncy and Tom Payton, The Restoration Group was formed with nearly 50 years of combined construction and restoration experience and a mission to put people first. Serving communities across Delmarva, their team of IICRC-certified restoration professionals specializes in water, fire, mold, and asbestos services and are known for providing efficient, compassionate, and reliable service when families and businesses need it most. Nine years later, their focus remains the same: restoring properties and peace of mind.
That same spirit of recovery makes this partnership a natural fit. At Georgetown Speedway, recovery is part of the sport. Drivers overcome adversity, rebound from setbacks, and charge from the back of the field to the front. In 2026, The Restoration Group will reward that determination with the new The Restoration Group Recovery Bonus.
The Restoration Group Recovery Bonus is a $500 award available to drivers competing in the three points classes at Georgetown Speedway - Millman's NAPA Auto Parts Modifieds, Blue Hen Disposal 602 Sportsman, and 1st State Chevrolet RUSH Late Models. To be eligible, a minimum of 15 cars must be entered in the driver’s class on that night. To win the bonus, a driver must draw the highest pill number available for their class (example, if 50 pills are available, the driver must draw 50) and then go on to win the Feature Event that same night. If both conditions are met, the driver will earn the $500 bonus courtesy of The Restoration Group. Only one driver bonus will be awarded per night, with the first eligible driver to accomplish the feat earning the reward.
We are excited to welcome The Restoration Group to the Georgetown Speedway family and look forward to seeing recovery rewarded throughout the 2026 season.
