Friday Night Racing at Georgetown Speedway Set for May 9; Rain Date Added for Saturday, May 10
Georgetown, DE – The action returns to the half-mile dirt oval at Georgetown Speedway this Friday night, May 9, with a full card of high-octane racing; including the URC Sprint Series, presented by Phil's Electrical Service! Fans can look forward to thrilling battles across multiple divisions, including the Blue Hen Dispose-All Crate 602 Sportsman, First State Chevrolet RUSH Late Models, Little Lincolns, and Delmarva Chargers.
To ensure the event takes place despite possible weather challenges, Saturday, May 10, has been added as a rain date.
However, please note:
If the event is moved to Saturday due to inclement weather, no points will be awarded to the Blue Hen Dispose-All 602 Sportsman and First State Chevrolet RUSH Late Model divisions.
This change ensures fairness to all competitors given the scheduling conflict potential and varied availability on Saturday.
Pit Gates open at 4:00 PM, Spectator Gates open at 5:00 PM, with hot laps starting at 6:20 PM and racing at 7:15 PM. Tickets and complete event info can be found at thegeorgetownspeedway.com.
