Big Weekend of Racing, Family Fun & Festivities Set for Georgetown Speedway! General Refrigeration Company Mid-Atlantic Championship Presented by Mill

GEORGETOWN, DE —

Georgetown Speedway is gearing up for one of the most anticipated events of the season as the General Refrigeration Company Mid-Atlantic Championship Presented by Millman NAPA Auto Parts takes over the historic half-mile oval on Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1. This two-day celebration of speed, family fun, and fall excitement promises nonstop entertainment both on and off the track for fans of all ages.

Friday night’s on-track action is loaded with major events, featuring the Millman NAPA Auto Parts Modifieds battling for up to $7,000 to win, the Fall Clash Late Models racing for $8,000 to win, plus the 1st State Chevrolet RUSH Late Model Series, Delmarva Chargers, Delaware Super Trucks, and Little Lincolns.

Saturday begins bright and early with the Evans Farms Pumpkin Carving Contest at 10:00 a.m., followed by a full day of Fall Fest Activities from 12-3, including bounce houses provided by Water Boyz Inflatables LLC, free kids face painting by Curious Little Faces, and the always-popular Pit Area Trick-or-Treating at 3:30 p.m. Children can visit race trailers for candy and meet their favorite drivers in costume. Throughout the weekend, campers can participate in the Campsite Decoration Contest, with a $100 Stockley Tavern Gift Card awarded to the best-decorated campsite.

Saturday night’s racing program features the highly anticipated Super DIRTcar Series Modifieds, along with the Blue Hen Disposal 602 Sportsman Modifieds, Delmarva Chargers, and Southern Delaware Racing Club. Once the racing concludes, the celebration continues with the Rent Equip & Party Central Racers Appreciation Party, complete with free food provided by Etta’s Catering, live music from DJ True Country, an adult costume contest, and more fun to close out the weekend in style.
