The Wait Is Nearly Over: Racing Returns To Georgetown Speedway Friday, July 22; United Racing Club (URC) 360 Sprint Cars & Big-Block Modifieds Headlin

GEORGETOWN, DE €“ The wait is nearly over.

Thrilling stock car racing returns to Georgetown Speedway next Friday, July 22 with a huge event headlined by the big-block/small-block Modifieds and United Racing Club (URC) 360 Sprint Cars.

For the first time since late-March, Modifieds will hit the historic half-mile track in a 25-lap main event offering $2,000 to the winner. In a unique twist, the event victor will receive a guaranteed redraw position in the Blast at the Beach Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP event to be held in late-August.

A draw/redraw format will be in place for the Modifieds to set heat and feature lineups.

Crate 602 Sportsman race 20 laps in search of a $600 winners share, with $100 reserved to take the green flag.

Also on the card: Southern Delaware Vintage Stock Cars (15-lap feature), Delmarva Chargers (heats and 12-lap feature) and Delaware Super Trucks (heats and 12-lap feature).
