Georgetown Speedway Set For Motorsports Racecar & Trade Show This Weekend
GEORGETOWN, DE – Delaware’s historic Georgetown Speedway is set to kick off the new season at the Motorsports 2020 Racecar & Trade Show this weekend. The half-mile clay oval will be represented in Booths No. 416-417 & 516-517 inside the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa. The show spans Friday-Sunday (Jan. 17-19).
Fresh off a $7,000 Super Late Model victory during Mid-Atlantic Championship Weekend in November, Georgetown’s own Ross Robinson will show his Stockley Materials-sponsored No. 7 Super Late Model in the speedway’s display.
On Saturday at noon, Chad Culver and Coastal 181 – author and publisher of the recently published Legends of Delaware Auto Racing book – will host a Delaware legends autograph session in the Georgetown display. Those scheduled to appear include Kenny Brightbill, Ricky Elliott, Curt Michael, Ron Keys, Gary Trice, and Ken Covey, who was car owner for Gary Gollub, as well as the author.
Georgetown Speedway season passes will be available at the show in addition to reserved pit parking spots and limited apparel selections. Fans can pick up 2020 race schedules hot off the printing press.
